Financial Aid - Grants & Scholarships

Education is more important than ever, and financial resources are available to help you succeed. Financial aid is available to adult students attending career majors that are more than 600 hours of instruction. Moore Norman Technology Center does not participate in any Student Loan program.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

  • Complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA) in print, or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
  • Identify MNTC as your school code choice on the FAFSA application
  • MNTC Federal Code Is 012272
  • Send off your application using one of the following:
    • Online: www.fafsa.ed.gov
    • Mail: Federal Student Aid Programs; PO Box 4691; Mt. Vernon, IL 62864-0059

Grant & Scholarship Opportunities:

  • Federally funded program which provides aid to adult students who seek a diploma or certificate in an eligible career major at our institution.
  • Pell Grants are restricted to students who have not earned a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Eligibility is based on meeting certain criteria.
  • Grant does not have to be repaid.
  • MNTC is provided limited funds to use toward students with the greatest need.
  • Grant does not have to be repaid.
  • May cover up to 50 percent of tuition costs depending on eligibility.
  • Administered by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

The MNT​C Tuition Waiver will waive the tuition for students accepted into one of Moore Norman Technology Centers Long-Term Programs. Eligibility requirements must be met to qualify.

The Oklahoma Business Women's Foundation, Inc. is offering scholarships to Oklahoma women who are enrolled in accredited learning institutions during the 2016 - 2017 school year. The scholarship application deadline is March 1, 2016, and all applicants will be notified by June 30, 2016, whether awarded a scholarship or not.

The Adult Student in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of non-traditional students.  These include persons who are past high school age and who are entering a college, university, or trade school and/or the workforce for the first time, non-traditional students already enrolled in a college/university or trade program, are re-training due to changes in the workplace, or who otherwise are not the traditional college or trade school student, recently finished with high school.
